Arissa Nail Polish Swatches

Arissa is a brand I discovered while on holiday, I've never seen it sold in the UK, but I was drawn to their unusual bottles and as they worked out pretty cheap in comparison to UK polishes (Drugstore price) I decided to pick up 3 of the ones that looked the most interesting :) So here are some swatches :D

Ruby Sparkles
This was opaque in 2 coats (although 1 may suffice for the less fussy among you), Ruby Sparkles instantly brought Sugar Plums from China Glaze Tis The Season to be Naughty and Nice to mind, in that they are both metallic red shades encrusted with holographic glitter. However Ruby Sparkles is actually a lot lighter in shade, and it looks to me like its even more packed with holo glitter than it's China Glaze counterpart: Sugar Plums. Application was like a dream, and I absolutely love this colour!

For some reason the next two bottles were both labelled "Pretty" so I've dubbed them Pretty 1 and Pretty 2 :)

Pretty 1
Pretty 1 is a golden metallic orange with a slight duochrome effect, as the flashes are gold its not very noticeable but still gives this polish a cool effect, definitely a nice one for autumn, reminds me a little of OPIs Take the Stage and Rising Star from The Burlesque Collection, also opaque in 2 coats and a lovely finish and easy application, thumbs up :D

 Pretty 2
This one is definitely my favourite of the two same named polishes, it has a similar duochrome effect to Pretty 1, but since the colour is a lot redder it stands out a lot more, this one is a coppery red metallic, and as a colour looks a lot more interesting than Pretty 1. I wonder why they had the same label, they're clearly very different colours!

Quite glad that I picked these three up, I'm going to have to hunt down an Arissa Website to see where they stock these polishes :)
