4th of July Manicure - Captain America Nails

Since I'm very excited about the upcoming Captain America Movie, I thought it would be fun to do a Captain America manicure for the 4th of July, even though I'm in the UK, I enjoy any excuse to do a themed mani, and I had loads of fun with this one! So this is one for my US readers! Hope you enjoy! :)

Here is what I used:

L-R China Glaze First Mate, OPI Alpine Snow, Konad Special Polish in White, Nail Star Art Pen in red
and Konad Plate M03

1 coat of OPI Nail Envy
2 coats of China Glaze First Mate
Star Pattern from Konad Plate M03 with Konad Special Polish in White
Filled in the stars with OPI Alpine Snow (I used the image that was just a star outline at that was the largest star)

2 Coats of OPI Alpine Snow applied freehand to tip

Red Stripes Applied with Nail Star Art Pen in red
Top Coat: Seche Vite (about 5 mins after stripes)

I'm pretty happy with how this mani turned out, the red lines are far from straight, but in real life they don't look too bad at all from a distance :)  Here's a few more photos :) Happy 4th of July to all my American Readers! Hope you have a great day!

NOTD - A Manicure For Audrey, with China Glaze For Audrey

A Breakfast at Tiffany's Inspired manicure :) was recently tidying up my computer drawers when I found some old see through label paper I'd not used for ages, and as I was currently wearing China Glaze For Audrey, I was suddenly inspired to create a manicure "For Audrey" :D hope you like it! The pictures are slightly less forgiving to the edges of the stickers, they definitely stand out more in photos than they appear in real life :) Anyway without further ado here is my Manicure For Audrey:

OPI Chip Skip
Base Coat: OPI Nail Envy
China Glaze For Audrey 2 coats
Top Coat Seche Vite
printed labels cut to size and applied using a hoof stick
Top Coat: Seche Vite

I had a lot of fun creating this manicure, and it's definitely inspired me to print nail designs more often :) a whole lot of fun!!! :D

KOTD - Phantom Of The Opera Inspired Nails

While looking through my Konad Plates, when I came across the music notes on Konad Plate M73 I felt inspired to create a Phantom themed manicure :) quite pleased with how this came out.

OPI Chip Skip
Base Coat: OPI Nail Envy
OPI Alpine Snow (index to little finger) 3 coats
China Glaze Liquid Leather (thumb) 2 coats
Top Coat Seche Vite (10 minutes before konading)
Konad Plate M73 with Konad Special Polish in Black Pearl (index to ring finger)
Konad Plate M54 with Konad Special Polish in red and green (little finger)

Phantom Mask created using the pen tip of a Nail Star two way Nail Art Pen and Brush I first drew the outline with the pen nib then filled up the rest leaving the eye holes black.
Konad Plate M54 with Konad Special Polish in pink and green for rose
Konad Special Top Coat (5 mins after Konading)
