Battle of The Crackles OPI Black Shatter VS Barry M Instant Nail Effects Crackle Polish

So my OPI Black Shatter Polish finally arrived :) and I've been itching to see how it compares to Barry M's Instant Nail Effects black crackle polish, I currently had on OPI DS Sapphire, so I applied it on top. In all these swatches the crackle polish was applied on top of seche vite top coat thickly and non overlapping

The Barry M Instant Nail Effects Crackle polish definitely has a more crackled effect than OPI Black Shatter, as you can see from the pics, it also dries a bit more matte than the OPI, (top coat was added to the one with Sun Worshiper), another bonus of the Barry M is the fact that it dried a lot quicker also.

The next picture shows how the Barry M Instant Nail Effects Crackle responds very differently when applied on top of a holographic polish with no top coat, as you can see the effect is much thinner cracks but I must admit I like this effect, I will add a picture of the OPI Black Shatter on top of a holo with no top coat when I get a chance to try it out :)

I'm quite shocked to say this but Barry M's Instant Nail Effects Polish which retails at only £3.99 here in the UK, is the clear winner, I think I actually prefer the crackle effect with this polish, and really like its matte finish and quick drying time! :)
